STEIGLEDER FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP for Fredericksburg Area college students attending University of Richmond
The Endowment Committee for The Steigleder Family Scholarship is accepting applications for the Steigleder Family Scholarship. To qualify for the scholarship students must have been accepted to attend (or already attending) the University of Richmond as a full-time undergraduate student. The scholarship can be applied for each year the student is enrolled at U of R as a full time student, provided that the recipient(s) maintains satisfactory academic citizenship.
The 2021-2022 Scholarship Application is now open! The deadline to submit an application for this scholarship is April 15, 2021. Students can also check with their guidance counselors or scholarship coordinators for information and/or applications.
The Steigleder Family Scholarship Fund was established in 1998. All students from the Fredericksburg area are eligible for the scholarship — Caroline County, City of Fredericksburg, Culpeper County, King George County, Orange County, Spotsylvania County, and Stafford County (with preference given to residents of Caroline County, Virginia). It is also preferred the student complete their studies in a building industry related field. However, ALL students will be given an opportunity to qualify for these awards.

1. You can make a gift online – by using this link that will take you straight to a page where the Steigleder Scholarship designation is already filled in appropriately (just above the pre-filled dollar amounts).
2. Or, you can mail a check made out to University of Richmond with the scholarship name in the memo line to:
