FAM’s gallery spaces will be filled with fifteen miniature trees decorated by thesecond-grade students at Hugh Mercer and Lafayette Elementary Schools. Each tree is inspiredby a children’s book the students have read in the classroom.FAM is excited to continue this partnership with Fredericksburg City Public Schools. Spotsylvania County’s Ready~S.E.T.~Go! needs your help!

Ready~S.E.T.~Go! needs your help! FABA Members, Spotsylvania County Public Schools needs your help to be able to offer an externship program called Ready~S.E.T.~Go! to students.  In this program, students are paired with a working professional to observe and preview the day-to-day activities for a specific career. Externships are designed for students to learn more about the nature of various occupations and work environments, as well as, a foundation for the education and training needed to succeed. Think of an externship as an extended job shadowing experience designed for students to ask questions, observe, and get a feel for a workplace.
