Contract matters are consistently the number one issue in the housing industry. FABA is proud to present this seminar on Contract Law.
The presentation topics include:
- The nature of contracts
- Fixed price and cost plus residential construction contract provisions including: deposits, schedule of payments, substitution of materials, change orders, delays, environmental clauses, suspension or termination of work, and mandatory language
- Remodeling contracts, right of rescission
- Subcontracts, including specifications, proof of insurance, indemnification, immigration law compliance, and removal from job
- Warranties, including express limited warranties, waiver of implied warranties, standards of construction, andnotice and opportunity to repair provisions
